Finding a Trustworthy Stock Market Newsletter

It doesn’t matter if you’re new to the stock market or a seasoned pro, you’ll want all the information you can find so that you know how to make the best investments and make the most money. Lucky for you, it’s never been easier to find the things you want to know, because there is a world of websites waiting online to answer all of your stock market questions. You may find a site that offers you a newsletter to keep you informed about all the things you need to know that are taking place in the stock world.

If you search the Internet using the keywords “stock market”, you’ll find endless lists of websites which are offering something to the public.  The search engine blurbs are filled with words designed to draw you in, words like “beat the stock market”, “inside scoop”, or “the best ways to make money”. When you enter one of these websites, be prepared to be bombarded with glowing prose and outlandish figures.  Know these sites for what they are, and don’t fall for anything they’re telling you. You want to know what type of market club you’re signing up for.

After checking out a few of these sales pitches, you’ll be able to start telling when you’ve entered another junk site or if you’ve found one of the many reputable newsletters that will give you the information you need to invest wisely in the stock market.  Many of these sites will offer you free information and then invite you to become a paying member in order to have access to premium information. Keep in mind that you will be able to find many more informational newsletters where you can glean the information you need, but you can certainly join one if you choose to.

Newsletters are only part of the package you’ll find on a website. Usually they include a plethora of other relevant information, and none of it is going to cost you anything. If the site is asking a big price to access their information, find another site and save yourself some money. The whole point of your stock venture is to make yourself some money, not give it away to others who are trying to get rich. Take advantage of all of the free newsletters first. If you find one that you really like and that you feel is giving you good information, you may choose to subscribe to the entire site later on.

You can expect online newsletters to offer advice about the hottest stocks on the market. Don’t jump into any transaction in a hurry, however. If you look at several newsletters and stock market research sites, you’ll find that they all recommend different stocks. This difference could be the result of bias on some of the sites, or it could just be because the stock market is hard to predict. Do your own research into stock prices and companies and then make your own decisions about the stocks you want to invest in.

A good practice when looking at any newsletter would be to go to different sites and look up the “experts” who are giving you the information in a particular newsletter. Once you’re satisfied with an expert’s credentials you’ll be able to put more trust in his judgment. Since we all can’t be a Warren Buffet and be born with a special talent for investing, we all need people we can count on to give us the advice and guidance we’re going to need to succeed.
